Hi, my name is Kriti Guthikonda and I’m an incoming junior at Westview High School in Beaverton, Oregon. I’m passionate about science and healthcare, and I hope to become a cardiologist. I’m involved in extracurriculars related to STEM, public health, and communication. I’ve led classroom lessons on HPV awareness, founded a public health club at my school, and regularly volunteer with pediatric patients at OHSU. In my free time, I enjoy reading, dancing, and playing badminton.
I volunteer at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), where I work directly with pediatric patients before their appointments. I help create a warm and supportive environment by interacting with the children, keeping them engaged, and offering comfort during what can often be a stressful time. This experience has deepened my passion for healthcare and strengthened my ability to connect with patients and families in a clinical setting.
I am part of the FTC robotics team, High Voltage. I participated in FTC for two years and worked on outreach and hardware.

I won 3 medals in Science Olympiad at the state level: Second place in Can't Judge a Powder, third place in Disease Detectives, and third place in Anatomy and Physiology.
I enjoy dancing in my free time and am part of a dance group called Bollywood Blitz. Together, we competed at the Rangeela dance competition and won first place and have also performed at other events and fundraisers.
I won first place for the Wells Fargo Community Innovation Award at Arizona State University Global Institute of Sustainability and Innovation in which we won $2,500. It is the first school in the USA that is solely dedicated to sustainability and our project focused on creating a Sustainable and Economically Efficient Alternative to Synthetic Dyes.
I won second place at Northwestern Science Expo in the category of Consumer Products Testing Sponsored by Tortuga Early Instruments. This award led us to become a Broadcom Juniors Nominee in which our team reached the top 300 projects
